1)What role does organitional culture play on a company and its corporate entrepreneial goals?
Ans) Organisational culture plays an important role in any company. It create unique work place for the employee to reduce work waste and provide best service to the customers. In other words organisational culture encompasses value and behaviours that " contribute to the unique social and psychological environment of organisation ". It represents the collective values, beliefs and principles of organisation. Culture includes the organisation vision, values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, environment , location, belief and habits.
The organisational culture for employee make them concentrate and engage them in the work. It keeps them focus on the organisation and corporate goals. It helps the organisation to increase the ability and skills of the employees. Organisational culture also focus on eliminating waste increasing values.. It manage and formulate work shedule to get both results. It also cncentrate on the customer as to provide the better services at right time and place.
2) Why is the study of organisational culture important to organisations?
Ans) The study of organisational culture important to organisations because it helps the organisation to frame and create the vision and mission. The organisation culture make the employee to stir towards the goals of the organisation. It helps the management to prepare principles of organisation members and is a product of factor such as history, product, market, technology, strategy, types of employees, management style and national culture. The study also require strong leadership and diligance. It provide advanced idea that organisations often have very differing cultures as well as subcultures. The organisational culture defines it as it consisting of the values, beliefs and norms which influence the behavoiur of people as members of an organisation.
3) How may a company's culture affect(help or hinder) its ability to strategically assess its performnce?
Ans) Companies culture do affect in both ways. It helps the employee to increase the performance. The organisational cultureis set of shared assumptions that guide behaviours. The culture affect the way people and groups interact with each other, with clients or customers. It reflect the thinking and feeling of the employee in organisation.
4) Discuss your own thoughts and ideas as to the role culture plays in an organization and why performance assessment is important?
Ans) In my idea culture plays an important role in the organisation. It creates an environment which motivate the employee to work and perform better towards te organisation goals. The performance of the employee directly affect the growth of the organisation. The good work culture leads to the greater productivity. It also plays important role in performance assesment of the employee and also companies position in the market.
