What does virulence genes mean and what their factors?
A microbial product whose presence or activity in an organism's genome is responsible for the pathogenicity of an infective agent that cause disease and can include components essential for viability including modulins. These factors give them access into our bodies and allow them to establish a place to reside.
These factors include adhesins- these are cell-surface components which is a process that allows bacteria to attach or adhere to other cells and surfaces and it is a factor in bacterial colonization and pathogenicity.
invasins-is the ability of a pathogen to invade tissues
antiphagocytic factors.
Other factors, including toxins, hemolysins, and proteases, bring damage to the host.
