Compared to their last fiscal year, what does the Statement of Cash Flows tell us for Tesla?
Answer:- The Statement of cash flow is a financial statement that summarizes the amount of cash and cash equivalent entering and leaving the company.The statement meassures how nicely the company manages its cash position ,means how well company generate a cash to fund its operating expenses and to pay its debts obligations. The Cash flow statement is a mandatory part of of a company's financial report since 1987 as it complements the Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
Tesla is an US Company involved in car manufacturing and Energy. An American electric vehicle and clean energy company based in Palo Alto,califorina. The word Tesla stands for Tev Energy Superconducting Linear Accelerator.Tesla is "spending money as quickly as we can spend it,sensibly" and generating positive cash flow means more money comming inside than going out.
Comparing to the Tesla's last fiscal year ,the Statement of cash flow tell us that the net cash flow has increased in 2019 when compared with 2018 cash flow. Net cash flow for 2019 is $2506 and for 2018 was $312. We can understand it clearly and properly from the last fiscal years data. Fiscal years cycle is considered from Janurary to December.
