Does management impact the carbon cycle?
Carbon cycle is the flow of carbon between biotic and abiotic components of the environment. These processes include both which increase the atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration and those which decrease the atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration.
The only process which leads to a decrease in the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide is photosynthesis because plants can fix atmospheric carbon dioxide into their biomass.
There are many processes which can lead to the increase in the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide. And these processes need to be regulated by management and government policies and regulations.
Activities like burning of fossil fuels for industrial processes, use of fossil fuels for transportation which are highly polluting, deforestation and clearing of forest for industrial and residential setup, the amount of carbon footprint generated by an individual or a single organisation, all of the activities need to be regulated strictly by the government policies.
If all the activities are regulated by government policies, then every individual and Organisation will take care. If any regulation is broken, then it should be penalised. We think that if we are using our car at one time then it will not make a big difference but there are so many people who think the same and the combined effect of all the people is very high and harmful to the environment.
Therefore government of every country should strictly keep a check on how the individuals are adding to the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere because saving it Earth and environment is not an individual target, in fact it is the goal all the countries.
