  • These types of foods are known to cause biomedical risks and environmental side effects.
  • According to the world health organisation, GMO's are defined as >>  “Organisms , which can be , either plants, animals or microorganisms , in which the DNA is altered in a way that does not occur naturally by mating and/or by means of natural recombination.
  • Looking down in history lane, it all started in 1944 , when scientists discovered that genetic material can be transferred between different kind of species.
