Solutions

Expert Solution

Pro choice argument

The early stage fetus indeed has life but cannot survive it's own outside the woman's uterus, hence,it shouldn't be considered as murder because the fetus cannot survive it's own and requires mother's body and her physical resources for it's survival.Hence, the woman had all rights to decide for herself whether she wants the fetus as it's on her body and her resources that the fetus develops.

Pro life argument

Though in a fetal stage the woman has no right to take the life because doing she's ending a potentiality of an individual who would have become a great person.

Weakness of potentiality argument

It's not necessary that every person has the potentiality to become someone great, it's the nurture that plays the important role in developing abilities along with nature, but if a woman or family that cannot afford a better environment for the development of the child then this potentiality even born cannot reach it's optimum.

Weakness in women's right pro choice argument

Yes, it's indeed woman's body and she has every right to it,but, not after conception. If she's this much conscious of her body's right then it's better to take preventive measures for conception except in the case of rape and incest. After all it's her body and pregnancy shouldn't be the consequence of her carelessness of which she has no right to punish the fetus or unborn.
