How are reports generated from manual payroll systems?

As we know that under mannual payroll system, all relevant information of the employees are kept mannually. Such as all work done, all earnings, all applicable deductions ESI, PF, Income Tax etc. done by human resources. Thus at the end of the period we will find compilled reports of each individual from the accounting department. We can receive all relevant reports such as about gross revenue, net revenue, statutory deductions or other deductions etc. from accounting department.

If we want to receive any record regarding then we will get it from HR department which can co-ordinate with accounting department.

How are reports generated from computerized payroll systems?

As we know that under computerized payroll system, all relevant information of the employees are kept on computer system. This system of payroll is modern, quick, economic and less time consuming. All information such as all work done, all earnings, all applicable deductions ESI, PF, Income Tax etc. are kept electronically.

·        Under such system of payroll management we will get report with the help of following steps;

·        Click on report menu from report selection toolbar

·        Various types of accounting reports will be visible there such as; accounting list, journals, ledger reports, financial statements, financial analysis, payroll reports etc.

·        Select payroll reports from visible options

·        After clicking on payroll reports we will find following options; Employees list, Payroll report, Quarterly report, W-2 statements etc.

·        After clicking on desired option we will get particular report

·        Now, we can see that particular report or can print.
