Empowerment's dictionary meaning is authority or power given to someone to do something.In the same case happens in organizations, it is required to allocate certain amount of responsibility,opportunity,decision-making power and making them accountable for the responsibility assigned to them.it helps in developing 'us' feeling among the employees. Empowerment do work as it helps in motivating employees,create a feeling of job satisfaction and delegation of certain power helps in quick decision making.It helps in creating a flexible working environment where each employee have their own assigned responsibility ,authority as well as accountibility which integrates their efforts to obtain the common goal that is organizational goal.It helps employees to take innitiatives by using their creativity and communicating their ideas.Empowerment can work as every individual want some recognition rather then financial satisfaction,empowerment helps in getting regular reinforcement from the employers for the work done by them.it also helps in overall all employee develoment by identification of potential and allocation of duties and responsibilities accordingly,As the business environment is changing so fast it is required to be flexible in business rather than adapting only autocratic approach where all the power lies in the hand of the boss.It helps in developing teamwork spirit among employees and identification of their other skills.There should be balanced amount of delegation of responsibility,power and authority and proper channel of communication should be conveyed by which everyone knows to whom they are accountable to,which will help in reducing confusion and conflicts and helps in achieving the purpose of empowerment.
