The physical manifestations that occurs with oxygen alterations are;

  • pain
  • fatigue
  • dyspnea
  • cough
  • wheezing

PAIN; In men it usually felt on the left side of the chest and radiates to the left arm.In women , it usually feels like senastion of breathlessness,jaw or back pain,nausea and fatigue.Thepain can occur in differnt parts of the body. For some people, the pain occurs as pericardial pain, muscluoskeletal pain etc.

FATIGUE; Here patient reports loss of endurance.

DYSPNEA; Patient feels uncomfortable in breathing. It ca be assosciated with other diseases like cardiovascular,neuromuscular conditions etc.Here, patient mostly uses their accessory muscles and nasal flaring will be there. Patient's has markeincrease in rate and depth of respirations.

COUGH; This is usually a protective reflex to clear the respiratory tract.So, when the patient coughs always check the frequency,colour and quantity torule outany further disorder.

WHEEZING;Check the timing of wheezing, whether it occurs during inspiration, expiration or both.

Above all these, the timing of each symptoms should be assessed properly.chest expansion, tenderness, vesiclur breah sounds should be checked.
