  • Helps preserve rural services like buses , village shop etc .
  • Tourist mainly come to see the senery and wildlife , so there is pressure to conseve habitat and wildlife .

NEGATIVE IMPACT OF TOURISM

  • Traffic congestion and pllution .
  • Damage to the landscape .
  • Local goods can become expensive because tourist will pay more .
  • Jobs are mainly seasonal and low paid .
  • Demand for holiday home makes housing too expensive for local people .

SOL 2 : Tourism and Hospitality go hand in hand , the hospitality offer services like accomodation , transport , food , leisure and recreation . Tourism is the activity by the tourist where they engage themselves in such services offered by hospitality industry .The hospitality industry is the service supplier to tourism .

SOL 3 : Globalization and Tourism are very dependent on each other . Thanks to globaliztion people from across the world can easily exchange ideas and values whether they are political,environmental,cultural or technological . This exchange has enabled the circulation of massive knowledge amongst the people of world . People now understand each other better regardless of language , religion or cutural differences and it has helped tourism industry to grow at a very high speed .

SOL 4 : Two challenges for tourism faced by lesser economically developed countries are :

  • Tourists from across the world wants to travel the countries where infrastructure of the country is good , country people are more educated and lesser economically developed countries fail in these departments .
  • Hospitality services of lesser economically developed countries are not so good as compared to developed countries which effect the tourist and tourism .
