In an American Research Group poll of February 2020, American voters were at 37% approval, 59% disapproval. As of March 2020, 35% approved of the way President Trump was handling his job and 62% were disapproved. The poll consisted of 246 Republicans, 358 Democrats, 391 independents, and 105 non-voters and was sample dates were taken from March 16^th to March 19^th of 2020

1. State the confidence interval estimate in two ways:
   • the upper and lower limits
   • the sample proportion ± the error term

(p^ +- z * sqrt(p^ * (1-p^)/n))

assuming confidence level = 95%

z = 1.96

n = 246 + 358 + 391 + 105 = 1100

For March 2020, p^ = 0.35

(0.3218,0.3782)

or (0.35 +- 0.0282)
