what is ethics in the workplace, and more importantly Ethics in the accounting organization? Objectivity and independence are essential ethical values in the accounting profession, provide your opinion if you agree or disagree and an example of where accountants make ethical choices. Again this is your opinion and feedback based off of experiences you have had or read about.
The ethics of the workplace of a accountant is that he or she should do the right things as per laws, ethics codes and professional values under all circumstances. The ethics come out with values only if all the ethical behavior are being performed doing right things at all times even without being noticed or monitored. The accountant has to perform his or her duties doing right things while acting in integrity, objectivity, independence or honesty.
Here, we can concentrate on the objectivity and independence ethical values of the accounts professional. The accountant being a professional has to pay full attention to the works and controls the subordinates so that the corporate’s accounts are being maintained correctly and on time. The accountant should perform its duties without any kind of pressure and bias act towards someone.
As far as the ethical values of an Accountant is concerned there is no choice of any act which is going to be ethically followed. He or she has to perform his/her all duties and acts ethically with full objectivity and independence under the defined laws and regulations.
