how do you write a real world application paper
Real-world Application involves the students to provide for the realistic illustrations of concept-related or course material. Instructors or TAs may ask students to go out and observe something on campus or in the community, and then write about that example for homework or in class.
Focus Points :
1. The area of study or discipline, should provide a way of looking at, understanding, and acting in the world. It provides a way of getting involved in and improving some important human activity.
2. For the instructors its important to believe deeply in the value of their subjects and should express that value by showing how the learning is related to the world outside the classroom.
3. Further , the discussions and assignments asked to design specific connections between contemporary events and course materials presented through newspaper and magazine articles or in videos and films produced for non-academic audiences.
4. For contemporary events, its would be helpful to take detailed and frequent connections between the academic concepts or information and the specific details of the events.
Tools for world application paper :
1. Representations of the World :
Occassionally , the teachers can bring the world into the room by the means of the articles from current magazines and newspapers, through films and videos of contemporary events and communities, or through Internet access
2.Snapshots of the World :
Sometimes instructors want students also to understand the
beauty and strength of the course and subjects. For this the
students need to focus on the specialized knowledge so that they
can reveal and change the world beyond the classroom.
3. Writing About Real-Life Situations
In the discussions of external materials may be through passing events by highlighting the concepts :
a) What question asks you to do with the material is to be considered .
b) Identify the materials, methods, and models from the course are the relevance
c) Developing a general approach to the question.
d) Reading the materials again, noticing the question which is being developed.
e) Connecting to the specifics of the case with the relevant materials from the course.
f) Planning the organized answer
g) In the final paper, show the interaction between case and course : The relation between the two should help bring out the meaning of both. The paper should be presented to make that interaction evident:

As mentioned above, make explicit connections between the case and the course, especially in the introductory sentences of the paragraphs. These connections should also add up in a coherent way and be presented in a comprehensible order, with one idea leading to the next.

The conclusion should address the mainquestion, reflecting how the case is apt into course issues, or how course matters would be helpful for the understanding , resolving, or providing a sophisticated way of handling the case. Based on the this , the conclusions should be providing some specific evaluations, recommendations, insights, or other advances on thinking.
