DISCUSS NDNQI , WHAT IT IS AND WHY ITIS IMPORTANT

NDNQI stands for "National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators" and is a database measuring quality of nursing. It is the only national program of nursing quality measurement which gives hospitals the performance comparision report of state, national, and regional percentile distributions.

NDNQI works with a not-for-profit organization called National Quality Forum (NQF) to identify the safety topics. The mission of NQF is to improve american healthcare with the national standards providing meaningful information about safe, timely, efficient and patient-centered care.

Importance of NDNQI -
