Yes, Culture displays a great influence on the preferences and needs of the people with disabilities. Culture is referred to as set of values, attitude and belief that a group of people follows. Cultures differentiates attitude, values and key concepts regarding disabilities that influences their perception and preferences. Some culture develops understanding regarding the medical model of disability whereas, other may peruse social model of disability.
