4) According to the Boeing Commercial Aircraft Company, a Boeing 747-400 aircraft has a maximum gross take-off weight of nearly 400,000 kg. Four pressure sensors are used to verify the weight reading found from suspension systems of Boeing aircraft. Each pressure sensor output is calibrated to produce 10?? for 1 Kg of weight. Design a circuit using op amp, which add the four voltage levels from the four pressure sensors and check whether the sum exceeds the maximum take-off weight. If the maximum allowed weight exceeds, the circuit should give an indication by a buzzer and blinking a Red LED.

[Note: This is Lab based question. You are expected to draw the circuit diagram, do design calculations and perform simulation using Multisim or Tinkercad for verifying the results.]

A Boeing 747 "Jumbo Jet" has a length of 64.4 m. The runway on which the plane lands intersects another runway. The width of the intersection is 23.6 m. The plane decelerates through the intersection at a rate of 5.50 m/s2 and clears it with a final speed of 46.9 m/s. How much time is needed for the plane to clear the intersection?

On January 1, 2011, Southwest and the Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), the aircraft manufacturer, entered into a lease agreement to lease 3 new Boeing 737-800 passenger airplanes. The lease term is 20 years, which is equal to the useful life of the airplanes. At the end of the lease term the equipment will have zero residual value and will be returned to Boeing. The lease specifies annual payments of $25 million beginning January 1, 2011, and then on January 1 of...

The Boeing Company, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, is one of the two major producers of aircraft in the global market. The other major producer is European Airbus. Boeing produces three models in Everett, Washington: 747s, 767s, and 777s. The planes are all produced in the same building. At any one time, there may be as many as six planes in various stages of production. Obviously the building has to be fairly large to accommodate such a huge undertaking. In fact,...

An air-freight company has 8 adjacent positions on its Boeing-727 aircraft for freight containers. The weights of this containers depend on what they are carrying. and company statistics indicate that %7 of the containers are classified as ”heavy”. While heavy containers are not inherently dangerous, having two such containers next to each other is considered dangerous should the plane encounter a wind gust. Understandably, company wants to know how often will it be in a situation where two heavy cargo...

The Boeing 777 aircraft has a takeoff mass of 240000kg and a takeoff speed of 90m/s . Assume that's the speed of air across the wing's bottom. The total surface area of both wings is 428m(sqrd). What airflow speed across the top of the wing is necessary for the plane to fly? I know I have to use bernoulli's equation, but I'm not sure how to get all the variables. Could someone help, and also explain the process please?
