The travel advances and innovation have minimised the time taken by individuals to access most of the world. This has also given way to the spread of diseases in a short span of time. There is also demand for rising medical tourism and the expectations around health system around the world has changed and increased in a dramatic way. It has become important to manage disease from a global perspective. There are several implications and ramifications of not being able to manage disease from a global perspective. These have been discussed below.

  • The emerging infectious diseases that are also reemerging will continue to kill people and perish people w with an epidemic if effective plans are not implemented.
  • There will be frictions between immigration policies and developed; developing countries due to the epidemics
  • The probability of bioterrorist attack would be on the rise if diseases are not managed from a global perspective
