Identify and describe three nonverbal codes related to the superior-subordinate relationship. Use real-life examples to represent how these nonverbal codes can positively or negatively affect work relationships.
These days non-verbal language is often used over to verbal language. It is being said that non-verbal cues can do more work than verbal codes. Such codes are many a times used in any organization. Some non-verbal cues have also emerged out of emojis from whats app. One traditional non-verbal cue is thumbs up - which emphasized good work done. If the work is done well, and the blss just does thumbs up for the little work done it proves out to be very motivating for the sub ordinate.
proxemics - this is the type of distance maintained, if the boss is VP or president or CEO then certainly some amount o distance is kept while conversing compared to immediate boss.
Facial expressions - they play a major role, even if the boss'd words may be kind or non harsh but based on the expresson one can understand the feeling. Based on gestures one can determine mood or work culture of any organization.
