Studies are coming out that are finding increased rates of COVID-19 in areas of high pollution exposure. For example, a study out of Harvard recently found that someone living in an area of high-particulate pollution is actually 8% more likely to die from COVID than others living in an area just one small unit less pollution. What do you think about this study conclusion? How do we control the damages from the air pollution?
We know pollution can damage the cilia, and things like smoking can even kill them. Air pollution can cause cellular damage and inflammation throughout the body and has been linked to higher rates of diseases, including cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, asthma and other co-morbidities. Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gas particles. The composition varies depending on the source of the pollution. This main reason for the death of the people in COVID-19
Our first line of defense when we breathe are cilia, little hair-like structures that line our respiratory tract and keep the airways clear of mucus and dirt.pollution can damage cilia when we inhale unwanted smoke and the virus can easily attack us.because all the dirt will be stored. and inhalation of pollution.peaople in the urban areas are affected by COVID -19 because there live much number of people and more pollution problems.rural peoples are affected less in number beacause they live along with nature with no pollution and also with good food habbits.so to control the damage from air pollution , we should be safe while going outside we should wear mask which cover our nose and mouth .This prevent from virus attack and inhalation of pollution and also to prevent other health issues.
