Find five (5) different preserved foods in your fridge and/or cupboard that represent five (5) different types of food preservation. Provide a picture of that product and briefly discuss what methods were employed to maintain product freshness and safety/hygiene. Please make sure you have a mix of both physical and chemical preservation methods
food preservation is that method of preserving the food from the growth of microorganism such as bacteria,fungi etc.,and also by oxidation of fats that cause rancidity and are also by some environmental condition.,there ares sevaral methods are used to prevent food those are-freezing,pacaking,drying,and pasteurization etc.,.drying ,refrigeration and fermentation are oldest methods of preserving food.there are lots of food item present in our house and refrigerator that we preserved by both physical and chemical methods some of them are -drying ( meat and lots of fruit are present in our house and there is high risk of bacterial growth in them due to moisturizer so if we drying that particular food material less chance of bacterial growth) ...milk is one of the important food stuff in our daily routine and it can be stored and preserved by putting it simply in refrigerator. and in Asia ,oil play one of the best preserving method ,we can preserve lots of spicy food stuff by the help of oil. if we remove liquid from food stuff that it will be helpful to reduce bacterial growth so we can also preserve our food in salts and sugar and thisis the best method to draw out of the food ,this reduce microbe growth because bacteria also need water for growth.,
