3D printing:
It is also known as Additive manufacturing refers to a process. This process used to create a three dimensional object and to create this object the layers of material are formed under computer control. These objects can be of any diffrent shape or can be any geometry shape and these can be produced from a 3-D model using digital model data or another electronic data source such as AMF file.here AMF means Additive Manufacturing File. For example a MakerBot three dimensional printer.
Using some softwares like CAD package, via a 3-D scanner or a by a plian digital camera and photogrammetry software 3-D printing models were created.Using CAD with 3-D printing will have correct output and errors are in less ratio and allowing verification in the deisgn of the object before it is printed.
In present days these 3-D printing or AM has been using in every industry like in medical, in manufacturing industry and some socio cultural sectors had become a best commercial technology
For example you can take rapid prototyping. Its main mission was to reduce the cost of developing protypes of new parts and new devices and to decrease the lead time.In past days this mechanism was done by only using subtractive toolroom methods. Those names are CNC milling, precision grinding, and with subtractive tool room methods. Here additive manufacturing had entered production in greter extent in the year 2010.
Today we are eating diffrrent types of food nothing but pizza, choclates. This is done by sqeezing out food, layer by layer, in to 3-D objects. This 3-D printing has also entered in clothing section also. This method is used in whole world for fashion to design the clothes like 3-D printing bikinisshoes and dresses. In games section to design the football shoes for players this printing is so much useful. In automobiles industry like to design cars and aircrafts to transform best unibody and powertrain and production. In architecture department like to design the sculptures this 3-D printng will be followed in ancient days itself.
