Factors of producion are the inputs required for production of any particular commodity. The four factors of production are land, labour, capital and organization, which are identified by earlier economists like Adam Smith, Karl Marx and David Ricardo.

However, today, in the modern world, capital and labour remains the two primary inputs for production related activities and the generation of profits from business. Labour refers to the physical effort extended by an individual to bring each unit of comodity or service produced and bring to the market.

In a political economy is concened, labour becomes a cheap commodity. When the more wealth he produces, the more powerful and wide ranging his production becomes, the labourer becomes poorer and poorer again and again. This is because no additional wages is provided to him depends upon the addtional unit of production, leasure time, or any other monetary or nonmonetary benefits.

Lack of motivation affects his productivity very badly, and it makes him to think himself as an object  of productivity. It also states that a labourer is related to the product of his labour, a strange or a foreign object. Skilled and unskilled labourers are paid differently. Uneducated and untrained labourers are paid at low prices. It makes him difficult even to make his both ends. These are the economic and political situations behind the statement - the person objectifies himself in production.

Conumerism is the idea, under which the increasing consumption of goods and services existed in the market. This is because a person's wellbeing and happiness depnds on the consumption of goods and material possessions. This arguement is based on the Keyneasian Theory, which states that, consumer spending is the key factor of economic growth. That is why encouraging consumers more on spending is a common economic goal. Hence it is clear that consumerism has a key role in fuelling economic growth.

A product is something different from a mere object, becuase it is something which can satisfy a human need or somtimes even if it is a want. Any finished goods which can satisfy human wants or needs can be called a product. The most important character of a product is that it is tangible in nature- that is we can touch, smell or even taste each product depends upon the way of consumption of the same.
