1. How can you best leverage your assessment results to obtain and maintain employment after graduation. Why are the skills assessed by the Interpersonal Skills Self-Assessment important to career readiness? Refer to the job postings you used for beginning your resume. You should also consider what you know about your field, based on your other courses and previous knowledge. What specific goal(s) would you like to accomplish as a result of this analysis of your current ability levels? How can you accomplish this goal?

• I can take my result and make them better, most of my results were average or above average but I feel like all of my skills should be at above average after graduation, so I am at the best for employment in business.
• The skills assessed by the Interpersonal Skills Self-Assessment are important to career readiness because without listening skills, emotional intelligence, verbal communication and being able to communicate in groups you aren’t suited for a business career. These skills help business men and women be the leader.
• For instance, if I scored a bit low, I might want to improve my skills and abilities reading company policies and procedures. Being as I only scared an 82% I know I can always improve. Regardless if I were to have scored a 100% I can always improve. No one is the perfect communicator. There will always come a time that I will find myself struggle in a situation. I may never be fully prepared until that moment arises and the best way to prepare is to practice. In my past career I was responsible for knowing company policies, where to find them, how to follow them, what to do if one was broken, and every little thing in between. That was a part of my job description. Being in a field that works with real living breathing human beings there is a policy for everything and it takes a long time to learn everything. I found myself making photocopies of a few each week and bringing them home to study them and make a book for myself to keep at home for the nights I was on call. After a few months I was completely up to date on everything. It only took some patience and a lot of practice. I know I can do that in the future to continue to succeed in my career.
