Internet has the potential to transform lives through its broad network, speed & accuracy. We can say that it is a window to world where information can be exchanged. Now a days we depend on internet for almost everything we do. The internet allows us to communicate & work, learn new things, & helps in finding directions, places & services. Internet is essential to be connected with our loved ones & be informed of events which affect our everyday lives. It has become a necessity in today’s life without which we cannot complete our day to day tasks. Several reports suggest that expanding internet access in developing countries has increased productivity by as much as 25 percent generating $2.2 trillion in GDP and more than 140 million new jobs, lifting 160 million people out of poverty. The open internet is essential for spreading social justice & political changes in a democracy. If people have access to information contained on the internet can help in increasing public health. Poor people who don’t have easy access to medical care can use internet to at least learn & identify symptoms of problem which needs treatment.

Now a day’s internet is one of the best way to educate people who cannot afford to join formal educational institutes & universities. It has enabled thousands of people to continue their education & gain employable skills. If we look at it from the perspective of freedom of speech & liberty which is a fundamental human right we should definitely have it free for everyone. It is the best place to share our ideas & opinions freely where they can be tested & criticized freely. Your voice can be heard by millions of people worldwide in a short period of time.
