Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer - 2, 3 and 4 are all possible combinations.

Reason

If mother is O blood type with genotype of OO and father is B blood type with genotype BB or BO then the blood group of child can be either O or B hence option 2 is possible combinations

If mother is A blood type with genotype of AA or AO and father is also A blood type with genotype AA or AO then the blood group of child can be either O or A hence option 3 is possible combinations

If mother is B blood type with genotype of B or BO and father is AB blood type with genotype AB then the blood group of child can be either A, B or AB hence option 4 is possible combinations

Combination 1 is not possible because, If mother is O blood type with genotype of OO and father is O blood type OO then the blood group of child can only O and not any ither blood type. If parents genotype doesn't have A antigen then the will never have A antigen or A group.
