Explain why you would or would not agree with the following statements:
Hardware is manufactured, while software is engineered.
If you follow all the phases of software engineering, it results in a waste of time.
A project manager should always accept a change coming from the customer even after the project plan is finalized.
Yes i agree with this generally hardware is manufactured whereas software is engineered. We never heard that software is manufactured. Manufacturing hardware elements or things is a physical work whereas software is the critical thinking and logical work that we incorporate into the hardware.
In software engineering it needs to follow all the stages, because time to time there will be a lot of variations and updations are coming into our way so to overcome the problems that we face when whatever it may be either devolepment or during executive knowing all will help any point. So i dont with this statement.
As a project manager your function is to plan, and estimation of the costs and he has to look before itself that what are the problems that might face by the project and come to the point at final and all discussions are completed then project must be started if it started once it is quite difficult to modify or add or remove some changes that was asked by the customer becauseeverything might be inter related. So i dont agree with this.
