Construct a hiring interview for a woman you suspect is pregnant.
INTERVIEW FORMAT FOR HIRING A SUSPECTED PREGNANT LADY
(The first and most important part is to create a good rappot with the pregnant lady, this will help to reduce the stress of candidate)
1. Say good morning
2.(Ask regular interview questions like)
a)what are your qualifications
b)what made you choose this field
c) do you have any work experience
3.( then if candidate is confortable then ask some questions indirectly related to pregnancy)
a)are you willing to work on shifts?
b)can you be a good team leader?
c) will you able to manage a job that requires lot of traveling?
( answers of these questions will give you a brief idea about the candidate)
4.( Next step is to ask more job related questions to check the knowledge of the candidate. ) If she is a nurse then ask
a) eg.how will you manage a patient came to ER with severe wheezing, oedema, symptoms of hypoxia? What are the first aids you give to this patient?
5. ( then frankly ask about her concerns like)
a) how many leaves are you planning to take?
b)will you be able to do work from home if you are not able to travel?
( during interview never make the candidate feel that pregnancy is the reason not to hire)
