The workstation are intercnnected to each othe using a switch that will be making use of ip table to meet the requested workstation from any station , like the computer does not need to broadcast the message to find out which computer has which address, they just need to know the ip address once and can use the ip address to send the data to that PC and the swicth will send the data only to the required ip address not to all the computer.

The cost here is very minimal that is of only the switches and cable to connect the computer and these pc can be assigned with ip address and a defualt gateway ip address of switchs to interconnect with each other.
