The Application that I am using was Visual
Studio it has both the online and offline help documents.
But I always prefer to use the online help documentation.
Now we can see the advantages of using the online help
documentation:
- First of all it is very simple to give or get help from the
online to any people at anytime from anywhere.
- We are in the modern world the more easier the process the more
customers you can get.
- Many help technicians are getting job through this
process.
- A single knowledge base can get the customers feedback and
complaint and able to service them more effectively
- At any time the customers can create an incident on the issue
in the particular websites and we can get the response less than a
day.
- Now the automation is ruling in the help desk also, The
incident creation and updating were automated and responded in more
faster than before.
- It can be used to track the customers progress throughout the
process and completes it well enough.
Disadvantages:
- Not everyone in the world is well enough to get into websites
and rise incident tickets, Few are not that much educated, for them
it seems an impossible task they go by hardcopies like
manuals.
- Trolling the customer help agent is commonly occurring through
mails and chats.
- Online help agents should have good attitude and well trained
technically to clear doubts of the customer
- Then few training class has to be conducted to the support
agents to maintain the quality of the
support that is sometimes too costly.
5. The main thing you definitely need to have access to internet
to get the particular support services.
