People were surveyed worldwide, being asked the question "How important is acquiring wealth to you?" Of 1518
respondents in country 1148 said that it was of more than average importance. In country B, of 1314 respondents,
614 said it was of more than average importance.
a) What proportion thought acquiring wealth was of more than average importance in each country's sample?
b) Create a 99% confidence interval for the percentage of people who thought it was of more than average importance in country A. (Be sure to test conditions.) Compare that to a confidence interval for the country B population.
here there is no need to test conditions because we can easily see that for both population n>30 and also X>10, which we can also say the general assumptions to apply z critical score value or apply to z test for small sample.
hii..i am trying to provide the detailed answer to you. if you have any doubt please ask by comment i will try to respond you as soon as will be possible. thanks....
