1. every field runs on numbers. It is important to keep the data of diseased people, death rates, birth rates, incident rates and so on

2. they all keep you updated and you know what is the present or what was the past situation

3. it lets you know if the healthcare industry is healful in reducing incident rates and death rates.

4. Then there are experiments in which dosages, treatment and illness all are studied in detail over a period of time.
