How could you apply what you know about deductive, inductive, and causal arguments to the nursing field and to the field of medical science?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer: The nurse indulge in several methodologies to elevate the quality of care provided to the patients. In the case of the inductive, nurse can apply this in to practice. The inductive reasoning includes the scientific knowledge, the data or information that are being gathered, this is based in the theories as well as the experiments. This could lead to increase the working efficiency of the nurse. For example the nurse observe the wound or ulcer on the body of the patient, who is unable to move. Hence this is due to pressure ulcer.

This provides base to the nurse to research more about it. The deductive reasoning includes the fact. Those facts that are general and exists. For example, human beings are mortal. This is the deductive reasoning which is the universal fact. The casual arguments can be used in convincing, or proving the point that could be essential or have some reference.

Generalizations are types of Inductive arguments that: Makes its conclusion about a thing, concept, or group, based on a sample of results from its whole. Makes comparisons between two or more things with the intent of conveying similarities between them. Implies that because one thing happens, a result will then occur, often when these connections are not absolutely guaranteed. None of these choices.
