As their is no specific rare disease given in the question. I am giving the details of one the rare skin conditions.

Actinic Prurigo it is a disease which is cause by the sunlight and also termed as the induced sunlight eruption. This condition is also characterized by the abnormal responses to UV radiation i.e. photosensitivity. It has been believed that Acttinic Prurigo is an abnormal immune response in the background of genetic sensitivity. This skin condition is not associated with mortality but it can cause morbidity in stricken individuals.

Mainly, AP in the beginining appears in the sunnier months and patients frequently report aggravation during summer and spring. Rarely, however, it gets worse in the winters and autumn may be because of the reason of immunotolerance in summers.

Factors effecting Actinic Prurigo:-

  1. Ultra violet radiations which are UV-A and UV-B are one of the main cause.
  2. People at higher altitudes are also more oftenly prone to this condition, hence, high altitude another cause.
  3. Food photosenstizer and some nutritional deficiencies in some individuals is reported as one of the cause this condition.

Preventive measures to control Actinic Prurigo:-

  1. The most important preventive measure for this condition is to avoid the direct sun exposure.
  2. Wear thick fabrics and avoid sun exposure during 12 pm to 3pm.
  3. Apply sunscreen above 30 spf and reapplyy if necessary and also wear sunglasses.
