Text effects can play an important role in polishing a document, but they also can overwhelm a document and distract readers. Consider the text effects available in the Font Dialog Box.
How many effects are too many/just right for use in a document?
What is the result of using too many effects?
At what point is the document overwhelmed?
Should the type of effect used vary according to the type of document?
Please share your experiences in which content was undermined by animated effects, or share an example of such a document that demonstrates this.
Share a distracting document, article or website.
Text effects create an image that says so much more than the
text itself.
The effects give a theme or goal to our presentation.
In a document there should not be more than 4-5 text effects(in
10-15 pages of document) because it
starts looking chaotic and unsettled. Keeping the text effects
simple,
and not so attractive make presentation more formal.
If we use too many Text effects in our document give a cheesy,
fake
look and make our document look more childish. Adding too many
text
effects may also distract the viewer from our valuable content.
The document is overwhelmed when there are too many text
effects
which is making the document look horrible and not easy to
understand.
Yes the type of text effect used in a document should vary
from
document to document. For Ex:- If it is a formal document then
the
Text should should be simple and avoid using too cartoonish
styles.
Mainly, Intro part and headings of the document should be made
using
text syling and text effects.
The body text should be written and styled accoeding to the
text
effect used in the heading. Content which is not too serious
to
talk about can include text effects.
