substance which is used to stimulate the production of antibodies
and provide immunity against particular diseases.
WHY
VACCINATION
IS
IMPORTANT
means it boosts our immunity system and prevent from various
dangerous diseases.
As a health care provider we have to educate the importance of
vaccination and the risk of being unvaccinated that is,
unvaccinated people have risk of getting infections diseases and
morbidity and mortality rate also high. completely unvaccinated
child is unprotected against harmful and contagious diseases, such
as measles, pertussis and chicken pox. Children who skip vaccines
also pose a risk of transmitting diseases to other patients. This
can be especially risky exposure for vulnerable populations,
including infants too young to receive vaccines, elderly patients,
patients with weakened immune systems or pregnant women. So banning
them to over community exposure.
Several people
refuses the vaccination due to several reasons few
are,
- Fear of vaccination side effects , illness or death and lack of
knowledge about vaccination. Few misbelief of peoples are,
- Majority of vaccinated people getting diseases than
unvaccinated once
- The vaccines have adverse effects even death
- Vaccine preventable diseases eliminated from country so no need
to become vaccinated or my child to vaccinated.
- Giving a child multiple vaccines at the same time will
increases the harmful effect and overload the immune system.
- Several parents these days are deviating from the government's
recommended vaccination schedule and either delaying some shots
until their kids are closer to elementary school age or spacing out
shots in more frequent office visits. As a health-care workers who
giving vaccines have a responsibility to listen them and try to
understand a patient's concerns, fears, and beliefs about
vaccination and to take them into consideration when offering
vaccines. These efforts will not only help to strengthen the bond
of trust between staff and patient but will also help determine
which, if any, arguments might be most effective in persuading
these patients to accept vaccination.
