Cultural competence is defind as the ability to participate effectively and ethically in professional and personal interculture setting,it is valuing diversity for the creativity and richness it brings to society.cultural competence is important in healch care system inorder to provide culturally cometent care for diverse clients,helth care workers should understand the patients culture can influence profoundly how they define health and illness how they seek health careans constitutes appropriate treatment.

To provide culturaly centered care for the clients, health care workers should treat each client as an individual,respecting and recognising patients values, believes, and care seek behaviour,the patients are incresigly diverse, the health care workers realize that their clinical care process could also be influenced by their ownn professional and personal experiences as well as bimedical culture, health care professional and providers can take several steps towards becoming culturally competent,the health care giver should, involve the community,make cultural competency an instiitutional priority,provide culturally and linguistically competent care,develop culturally competent care,collect race,language,ethnicity perference data,identify report system. Achiveing cultural competent care for the patiet should start at system level.
