You are an undercover narcotics officer involved in a “buy-bust” operation. The seller has not arrived at the location at the time indicated. What do you do to make sure the seller is going to show up without “blowing” your cover?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Buy-bust operation is usually undertaken by narcotic officers in undercover to catch those involved in illegal drug sales red-handedly. In this scenario, firstly I would offer a higher bidding price for the drug to tempt the drug dealer come, secondly, I would offer to go to his place to buy the drugs, thirdly, I would offer a new location and finally I would decide to take the police force with me to take the drug dealer down on suspected drug selling.
