Nature vs nurture has been a point of conflict in the realm of psychology ad nauseam. Where the community is divided between nurture, nature or both. Although there has been a semblance of agreement, and that is for the facet of both having a contribution. However, there is still considerable debate over which contributes more out of the both. Nature is the intrinsic biology that makes us behave a certain way, and nurture posits that one's environment and the way they are brought up impacts behavior.

When looking at human behavior it is necessary to pay heed to both these aspects. For instance, if we look at behavior in adolescents, and we take the Characteristics of mood swing into consideration. We realize that these mood swings are all pervasive and are true for every single teen, no matter the type of environment or nurturance they belong to. This can be attributed to the nature part of the argument. Nature states biology is the factor, and this is true in the above context. Mood swings are a proclivity that happen in every adolescent and they have been imputed to the "raging hormones." In simpler terms, it is the pubescent period when the teens go through vital biological shifts that in turn have an impact on their brevior, which can be confusing and ascribe a rather irate and pugnacious disposition to the teens.
