Solutions

Expert Solution

Improvement Program focused on SAFETY : "Safety First" - It was implemented through 2 channels : (1) Classroom instruction on weekly basis to all the employees and (2) Hands-on training to all the employees on Quarterly basis.

(A) Strengths: 1. It covered entire organization, no employee was left.  2. The instructors for the program were highly qualified and experienced persons in their fields so they provided pertinent information for the participants. 3. It even included trainings on how to provide first-aid reliefs.

(B) Weaknesses: 1. The hands-on part was conducted at low frequency. 2. Attendence of employee for the classroom program was not monitored.

(C) Recommendations : 1. Make the hands-on session more frequent than the theory class. 2. Have an evaluation test linked with the employee's yearly Performance evaluation index, after each class session so that attendence is encouraged.
