For the effective treatment one of the important elements required is the providing cultural competence environment. By providing cultural competence environment to the patients, the patients feels comfortable and also becomes enable to discuss their problems and mental health issues. The nurse need to build a trust with this kind of patients. This will elevate the quality of care of the patients. This will also provide nurse to have proper assessment of the patient's mental health. The RN also indulge themselves in evidence based practice to reduce the health disparities. This enables the psychiatric RN in decision making and critical thinking skills. Hence this will elevate the health status of the patients.
