Pathophysiology explain the functional changes occurring within an individual due to disease. Here the pathology describes conditions typically observed during a disease state and physiology describes processes or mechanism operating with an organism. Pathophysiology is a investigation of biological processes that are directly related to disease processes of physical, mental, or psychophysiological conditions and disorders.

Sign and symptoms - sign is a health issue that can be observed .Signs can be identified by anyone(doctor,nurse,attenders)(example -rashes)

Symptom is a subjective health issue which cannot be observed by the doctor.  The doctor or nurse cannot see, hear ,feel or smell any of the issues which makes them symptoms. (example -back pain, fatigue)

Interventions -means the action taken by the nurse to improve ,maintain, or restore health or to prevent illness. Any act by the nurse that implements the nursing care plan. It is a vital service for the patient as nurses care for them in every aspect including physically, mentally, socially, emotionally.

Patient teaching -process of informing a patient about the health matter to secure informed consent ,patient cooperation and a high level of patient compliance
