Compare Japan & the United States Health care system in terms of
-- Innovation -New technology -Diversity -Focus on wellness/prevention
In terms of innovation, wellness/prevention, etc the Japanese healthcare system outperforms the US healthcare system. The degradation of the healthcare system in one of the world's largest economies, i.e., the US is in fact quite shocking and unbelievable. The failure of the US in terms of wellness/prevention was revealed to the entire world when the US topped the number of COVID 19 deaths and infected people. This showed the inadequate measures of the US in terms of wellness/prevention, the unpreparedness to face a contagion like COVID 19. Since the wellness of a community is based on the preventive measures as well as the treatment provided, the US showed a lack of farsightedness in wellness/prevention. Compared to the US the Japanese had a lesser number of COVID 19 deaths as well as infection rates, which shows the superiority of the Japanese in wellness/prevention. Though both these countries fared well in using the latest technology in medicine, the Japanese had an upper hand here also as it was slightly better than the US in using new technology in healthcare and making it available to the masses. Healthcare in Japan is not a burden to people and the longevity of citizens can be seen as proof of a well-planned healthcare system which is not the case in the US.
