Solutions

Expert Solution

1.   Fc- fusion proteins ( fragment crystallizable fusion) are the Fc domain of Ig G linked to a peptide or a protein genetically. It is the most important reagent for in vivo and in vitro researches.
Advantages :
•   In in vivo it help to increase the half life of plasma
•   In in vitro they acts as effective biotheraputic agents.
•   Allows protein A affinity purification.

2.   In immunosuppressed patients a live attenuated vaccine is contraindicated.

It increases the possibility or risk of replication of attenuated vaccine microorganism. Primary live vaccination are more dangerous than secondary live vaccination in immuno suppressed patients because an immune system can not build upon existing immune memmory

3.   . Antibody to one serotype be ineffective in a different serotype.
It is the mechanism of human body in which the infectious agent like bacterium or virus alters the proteins or carbohydrates on its surface and there by avoids host immune response. .

This may be happens because of change or alteration in following mechanisms :
•   Gene conversion
•   Hyper mutation
•   DNA inversions
•   Recombination of sequence cassettes.
