The potassium levels is ver high or increased (3.6_5.2 mEq/L
The chloride level is decreased (97_107 mEq/L)
c.The level of potassium is dangerously high which can cause cardiac arrest. So this a great concern which has to be addressed immediately.
The level of sodium is decreased below the normal range them it can cause confusion so this also should be addressed.
d.The nursing assessment to be done are
e.The priority nursing interventions is to administer intravenous fluid therapy containing sodium chloride to increase the level of decreased sodium and chloride level
Calcium gluconate ,insulin therapy with glucose to reduce the level of potassium
No potassium rich foods or supplements as this can further increase its ranges.
