Answer : Staff shortage are the most important health care issue in almost all the countries. Health care workers such as doctors, nurses,care givers, Lab technicians ,house keeping staff and others are playing an important role in providing quality health care to the patient's . The lack of sufficient health care workers affect the recovery of the patient . Nowadays, we can see that many hospitals face staff shortages and they recruit temporary staffs , who do not have previous experience in the healthcare sector , for different health care departments . For providing quality health care according to JCI vision ,sufficient number of staffs required each and every departments such as wards, intensive care units and other units. If one hospital has staff shortages, health care workers work continuously and they don't follow the standard operating procedures .As a result ,they become the carrier of infections and spread to the entire hospital .For instance ,when covid 19 spread in the hospital ,many of the nurses forced to work continuously in the covid ward and other wards alternatively which increased the spreading of the disease. For overcoming this problem, firstly ,hospitals should recruit and fill the staff shortages . Secondly, give proper PPE for the staff,.By providing support and care,hospitals and clinics help  the heath care workers. Provide employee facilities such as adequate leaves and payment .
