Amazon rainforest biome
1. A Climate- * the amazon rainforest is a tropical rainforest and is located very close to the equator.
* Its average temprature is 27 degrees.
* There is no seasons, it is just one humid season with lots of rain!
* Because of the stuffy humidity it feels as through your struggling to breath.
* However, the amazon rainforest rarely raches above 33 degrees
* Even through it is very humid and hot in the amazon it is also very damp.
B Soil- * Three fourth of the soil in the amazon is a clay like Leterite soil that is reddish or yelloish.
* This soil is acidic and poor in nutrients.
* There's also a type of soil is called Terra preta
* That is high concentration and charcol at a low temperature and is man-made .
C Organism- * the amazon rainforest is home to 427 mammals species, 378 reptiles specis and more then 400 specis of amphibians.
* Some of the animals that lives in the amazon rainforest include jaguar, sloths, river dolphins, macaws, anacondas, grass frogs and poison dart frogs.
2 location and range- Amazon rainforest, large tropical rainforest occuping the dranage besin of the amazon river and its tributaries is nothern south america and covering an area of 2,300,000 squre miles.
Conprissing about 40% of brazil total area, it is bounded to the guina highland to the north, the andes mountain to the west, the Brazilian center plateaus to the south and the atlantic ocian to the east. 3. Physical factor- *Diversity of landscapes modulated by the avaibility of water, being categorized as dryland forest
* Some amazones areas have shown soil with high concentration of aluminium ,ferus iron, low chemical fertility and unfavourable physical properties
Chemical property- pH drops below 5
High level of uv rediation
4 Density dependent factors are those factors whose effect on a population is determined by the total size of the population. Predation and disease, as well as resource availability, are all examples of density dependent factors. As an example, disease is likely to spread quicker through a larger, denser population, impacting the number of individuals within the population more than it would in a smaller, more widely dispersed population.
Example of limiting factors- Food, water, light space, shelters and acces to mates are all liming factors
