Post Traumatic stress disorder can develop after a very stressfull , frightening or distressing event , after a prolonged traumatic experience .

There are the types of events that can lead to PTSD are as given below;;-

• Serious accidients
• physical assault
• abuse , including childhod or domestic abuse
• exposure to traumatic events at works , including remote exposure
• serious health problems as included as being admitted to intensive care
• experiences of childbirth , such as losing a baby sometimes
• wars and conflicts occurs
• torture in past life

PTSD devlops in about 1 in 3 people who experience ssevere trauma . IT is not fully understood why some people only develop thi swhile some are not in facing the same experience of past trauma .But certain factors appear to make some people more likely to develop PTSD .

If some have depression or anxiety , in th past , they often do not recieve much support from the home , family and friends then they are more susceptible to developing PTSD after a traumatic event .

There are also be a genetic factor that involved in PTSD . for example , a parent that having a mental health problem Then there are chancesto develop this to their child .

ALthough it's not clear exactly why people develop PTSD , a number of possible reasons have been suggested there,

The systoms of PTSD are the results of an instinctive mechansim intended to help that survive further traumatic experiences

For examples the feelings of being 'on edge' ( hyperarousal) may develop to help in teh react quickly in another crisis top some one . . BUtwhile these responses may be intended to help us in survive , but they are actually very unhelpful in reality because we cannot process and move on from the traumatic experiences.
