Expert Solution

Cabo San Lucas is a resort city located in the southern part of the Baja California Peninsula, in the Mexican state. In 2015, the city hosted a population of 81,111 inhabitants, and the number is anticipated to have risen significantly due to increased tourist visits. The living conditions in the city like better housing, water, and electricity have been developed to cater to the increasing number of the residents. The retirees facilitated the investments who take their vacations in the region to enjoy its beautiful scenery.

The average household size comprises mostly four members; this is determined by the high expense incurred in the city. The life expectancy in Cabo San Lucas is over 75 years, with approximately 72 years for men and 78 years for females, with the median age of 25 years for the youths. The families living in the rural areas reside under extreme poverty off $1.90 a day, the population in the rural total 5.6% of the residents (Wilson & Tamar, 2012). 21% receive food assistance from the within and the external organizations while 18% reside in sub-standard households’.
