There are various challenges in any profession but when it comes to nursing it can be even more challenging.

As there are various issues that direct nursing care.

Non maleficent can be considered as an important part of nursing practice. Where ad providing care without harm is considered the priority but on the other hand introduction of euthanasia like treatment can cause great dilemma in nursing care and treatment.

There is a dilemma between the introduction of euthanasia and the application of non maleficent as a principle where on the other 7side the law permits the use of euthanasia, it may contradict with the nursing principle of non maleficent.

Other such legal decision that can be voilated may include that of confidentiality.

Confidentiality-

Confidentiality is considered as an important part of nursing care and the nurse must preserve and protect the rights of patients.

Whereas sometimes there may be breech of this rights due to some important information presented by the patient which may be of great help in planning treatment.

Hence there exist a dilemma in this case.

Decision making-

The patient is considered as an important decision maker and this right is considered as his own. But sometimes due to altered mental status the patient can experience lack of ability in this area.

Hence there may be a breech of this right of the patient.

Medical errors-

There may be medical errors which may occur within the unit of care either by the doctors or by the nurses etc. This error can sometimes be ignored by the health providers and hence may be a voilation and may result in a great dilemma.

Other dilemma may include-

Right to information- which may seem difficult to present.

Right to records and reports- according to various hospital protocol the patient must not be presented with hospital records or reports.

Right to privacy-

There may a great breech in this form of care as privacy can be violated to a greater extent.

Hence there exist a great dilemma in legal clarification.
