1. Asthma: ( also called as bronchial asthma) is a condition in which airways become inflamed, narrow and swollen and produce extra mucus which makes it difficult to breathe

2. COPD: ( also called as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) is a group of diseases that block airflow and makes difficult to breathe

3. COVID19: ( also called as corona virus) corona virus in humans cause respiratory infections ranging from common cold to more severe disease such as SARS

4. Lung cancer: ( pulmonary carcinoma) cancer that forms in the lung tissue is called as lung cancer, It usually affects the cells lining air passages, there are two types of lung cancer, that are small cell cancer and non small cell cancer
Procedure for evaluation: Chest X-ray, CT scan, sputum cytology
5. Cystic fibrosis: ( also called as CF) It is an inherited life threatening disorder that damages lungs and digestive system. It affects the cells that produces mucus, sweat and digestive juices, it makes the secretion thick and sticky which plug in to passages, ducts and tubes.
Procedure for evaluation: Sweat chloride test, immunoreactive trypsinogen test, sputum test
6. Pulmonary tuberculosis: ( also called as TB, consumption) it is a bacterial and contagious infective disease that attacks lungs
Procedure for evaluation: Mantoux tuberculin skin test, chest X-ray and sputum test
7. Pneumonia: Pneumonia is an infection that inflames air sacs in one or both lungs which may fill with fluid
Procedure for evaluation: Chest X-ray, CBC, CT chest
8. pleural effusion: It is a condition where fluid buildup in between the tissues that line the lungs and chest
Procedure for evaluation: chest X-ray, CT scan, ultrasound of chest
9. Emphysema: It is a condition where air sacs in the lungs will get damaged, overtime the inner walls of air sacs will become weak and rupture, creating larger air spaces instead of smaller one.
Procedure for evaluation: Chest X-ray, arterial blood gas analysis, CT chest
10. Chronic bronchitis: It occurs when the lining of bronchial tubes repeatedly becomes irritated and inflamed
Procedure for evaluation: Chest X-ray, sputum examination analysis, pulmonary function tests
